Part of a recent report from our pals at Zillow illustrates the best markets nationwide for buyers and sellers. As you can see by the handy map above, eastern Massachusetts is pretty much all one, big sellers market. There's tons of evidence to support this, natch, with sellers just about able to name any price and expect floods of offers.
The same report and the same map also show that the Providence, R.I., area is amongst "the markets with the most favorable conditions for buyers." So are central and western Mass. and a good chunk of New York State just over our commonwealth's border. In these places, your dollar stretches further and sellers are a little less hesitant to take overs at or under asking. Get.
